Phillipines

In September 2004 Mark King and his family relocated to Cebu to live and work as full time missionaries. Cebu is one of the main islands in the Visayan region of the Phillippines. Their involvement has birthed several fellowships; countless people, including some who once persecuted the local church, have come to Christ and have been discipled. Their work is mainly with indigenous missionaries in the Danao region where discipleship and training programmes for leaders are run. To date 55 homes have been built, and electricity installed into a village for the first time. Pipelines now provide water for two villages; lives have been saved through the medical ministry. Through projects thousands of adults and children have been fed both physically and spiritually. 50 children have been and continue to receive free education; several families have started micro-businesses.

Mark manages ECC’s overseas missions from his home in Cebu and hosts short term missions for members of ECC and any church / organisation wishing to visit Cebu.  ECC works closely with Bishop James Isaguirre, of the Living Epistle Christian Family Church, (Elim) based in Manila.
