Pastor William & Juliet Anane-Forkuo

William was born into a Methodist family in his native Ghana where he got saved at the age of 15. He became heavily involved in his local Baptist Church, as a member of the choir, a member of the deliverance ministry, a Sunday school teacher, and a member of the leadership team.
An active member of ECC since 1994 when he arrived in the UK, God has greatly used William as part of His plans for the church’s vision to witness revival in its community and in the nation.
This is not surprising given that William knew that there was a call of God on his life to serve in ministry since shortly after his secondary school education. However, rather than to heed this call then, William elected to pursue a secular career and registered for his Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) exams leading to stint as an accountant in Ghana.
Indeed, his arrival in the UK was to continue his accountancy training through taking his exams towards becoming a Chartered Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). It was during the course of his studies that he realized he could no longer ignore God’s call and decided to commit irrevocably to God’s work.
When in June 2002 the church established a 24 Hour Prayer Centre, William was made its pioneer full-time Co-ordinator in recognition of his commitment to God’s work in the church and indeed his passion for prayer. He oversaw the work of the Prayer Centre and the twice-daily Revival Prayer Meetings until he became a pastor in 2008 when he relinquished this role in order to focus on his new remit. William is responsible for Prayer Ministry in the church and oversees the works of the Prayer Coordinators..
Prior to his becoming a pastor, William served as an elder. He is married to Juliet who is as keen about the work in ECC as William is. For many years, Juliet played an active role in ensuring that the church building was clean in readiness for Worship Services. She has also served in many other ministries in ECC, including in the Ministry Team and the Prayer Ministry in addition to her active support of William’s ministry.
William and Juliet are blessed with two daughters.
