Theme/Prayer

Re-digging the wells of prayer. In June 2022, ECC celebrated 20 years of 24/7 prayer and now we look forward to the new expressions of what God is building

Sunday 8th February

PRAYER - As we re-dig our prayer culture, we pray to listen daily for God’s voice and instructions to obey so that we can take ownership of the things promised to us and to see them prosper in our time.
SCRIPTURE - “If only you would listen to His voice today! The Lord says don’t harden your hearts” (Psalm 95:7)

Monday 9th February
PRAYER - As we enter through the gates of thanksgiving, we ask for the grace of humility and lowliness of heart which are Kingdom values.
SCRIPTURE - “Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5)

Tuesday 10th February
PRAYER - Lord, we pray for hunger of the Word and consistency of daily prayer practices, leading to a new prayer culture which is birthed in the Spirit
SCRIPTURE - “And I will pour on the house of David (ECC) and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem (West London, including your community) the Spirit of grace and supplication” (Zechariah 12:10)

Wednesday 11th February
PRAYER - Pray for our identity in Christ. May our inner life (thoughts, emotions, and speech) become healthier as we operate in our God-given identity.
SCRIPTURE - “ For as he thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7)

Thursday 12th February
PRAYER - We pray for personal encounters with God as we become active participants who worship and pray continually. Pray the church would embrace her identity as a house of prayer over territories and nations.
SCRIPTURE - “… by the mercies of God, present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” (Romans 12:1)

Friday 13th February
PRAYER - Let the apostolic and prophetic mantles be recognised and released to function within their God given spheres of influence. May the spirit-filled prophetic intercessors, seers and a prophetic company arise in these days.
SCRIPTURE - “And He gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the work of the ministry and equipping of the saints”
(Ephesians 4:11)

Saturday 14th February
PRAYER - Pray for different expressions of worship and prayer to emerge in the church that focuses on love and intimacy with Jesus
SCRIPTURE - “Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people” (Revelation 5:8)
