March 2026 Prayer Themes
Healthy Spiritual Inner Life.
Over the next eight weeks, we will take a deep dive devotionally by using the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (day by day) book by Peter Scazzero into how to cultivate a personal, healthy inner life leading to a transformative work with the Holy Spirit within us.
This month we will be praying around weekly themes of Healthy Spirituality, know yourself to know God, going back to go forward and Journeying through the wall. (I would suggest you go back and watch the sermons preached from the 10th of February to give more context).
Week 1
Theme: Emotional Healthy spiritual Life
1-7th March
An emotionally unhealthy spiritual life hinders us from breaking deeply, rooted, unhealthy relationship patterns and maturing in Christ. (Peter Scazzero)
Sunday 1st March
PRAYER
Lord, help me to see how much I lose, when I lose perspective on my life, and all of life gets distorted when I don’t make space for You, obscuring Your love for me. Your love is better than life, and truly I long for more tastes of that love.
SCRIPTURE Mark 11:15-17
And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations”? but you have turned it into a den of robbers.

SCRIPTURE 1 John 2:15-17
Do not love the world or anything in the world, love of the Father is not in them… The world and its desires pass away but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
Thursday 5th March
Prayer: Dependence on God.
Father, I can relate to Jacob in striving, manipulating, scheming, denying, and spinning half-truths to those around me to get my way. At times, I find myself serving You to get something from You. Lord, I invite You to teach me to live in dependence on You. Help me to rest and be still in Your love alone.

So many forces, circumstances and challenges seem to come against me. Help me, Lord, to find rest in You and to take shelter in You as my fortress and stronghold.

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and salvation; he is my fortress… Trust in him always for God is our refuge
