August 2026 Prayer Themes

We are praying around the Book of Mark.  The book starts with the introduction of John the Baptist, a messenger of God, as a forerunner to the first coming of Christ…. Prophetically, the church too is called to be a forerunner to the second coming of Christ.

Saturday 1st August

PRAYER
Lord, empower us to carry on your work of deliverance and healing within the Body of Christ.

Sunday 2nd August

PRAYER

Enable us to walk in the freedom in Christ, knowing that he whom the Son of God has set free is free indeed.

PRAYER

Give us the spirit of compassion for those who are tormented and oppressed by the evil one.

Give us the boldness to cry out to God, on behalf of the needs of our families.

PRAYER

Lord, give us the measure of faith, that does not allow us to give up in times of Adversity.

Lord, strengthen our faith to always believe that Jesus Christ is our Healer.
